We spent two nights in the hotel and we loved it! The staff is super friendly and speak good English. Before leaving they helped us choosing next destinations in Sicily! What we read in other comments was definitely true. The appartement was excellent and very clean and the hosts Maurizio and Cettina very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really great, 5 jellies, fresh bread and Mortadella/prosciutto juices and Sicilian icecream (Granita)! Nicolosi is a cosy village to stay. Close to Etna and Catania. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. We loved the room though a little small--the bathroom was elegant and very comfortable. Breakfast was great with many tasty selections. Borgo San Rocco is a truly magical place. The accommodation is comfortable, clean and we felt at home instantly. The staff and owners are so friendly, and helpful they make you feel a very welcome guest in their beautiful resort that they love as much as we did. The peace and quiet is amazing and the views are just beautiful. Turned out that renting an apartment at Case Don Ignazio in southern Sicily was an excellent idea. Located at the top of the hill, surrounded by lime and orange orchards, and olives groves at the downhills, with spectacular view over Ionian see on the left and baroque beauty Rosolini on the right. - Excelent staff, very helpful and friendly. They give you good advice on what to do, discounts for scooter renting and they even returned for us our scooter when we decided to leave in the first ferry. They also took us to the port by car.
