Staff was terrific and knowledgable. - Very nice place with friendly and helpful staff, the female afternoon receptionist was particularly helpful (and attractive!)We would definitely stay again.Adjoining resturant was also very good value with great food.

We adored this hotel. It's beautifully decorated with antiques etc.
The location is perfect for the old part of Taormina and they run bus
transfers to a couple of beaches for €8 and €10. If you arrive by bus
and are unfamiliar with Taormina we recommend getting a cab to the hotel

Wonderfully helpful and friendly staff - a very pretty, small and intimate hotel. It had a very nice terrace area for relaxing in the heat of the afternoon and our room had its own private terrace too. Breakfast was extremely good, with lots of choice and some local specialities which we liked very much. Quiet, but convenient for the centre of Taormina.

Friendliness of staff, stunning views, relaxed atmosphere and terrific evening meals! - The infinity pool has the most amazing view and our room was very comfortable and stylishly decorated. Most amazing place I have ever stayed. Total relaxation both at La Forrsteria and at the nearby private beach. Fabulous food and the most attententive and friendly staff who did all they could to make you feel welcome and at home. Very personal and wonderful experience. Worth every penny!

Rooms very comfortable and clean, with 2 bathrooms in the 3-bed room and large roof-top terrace in the 2-bed room - superb! Very nice and helpful staff. Fantastic location in old town. The hotel was amazing! The car was parked and a cab to collect us! We were greeted warmly and given lots of great advice. - the manager on reception even booked us a table at a seafront restaurant! Fabulous! The rooms were basic but well air conditioned and lovely comfy beds! The lady on reception the following morning could not have been more helpful! 5* service!

Everything is very good .
The atmosphere, the staff, the location, very close to the sea (some minutes by car, and possibility to have a shuttle to and from beaches) and really very very excellent restaurant (the chef is really great!). We had a wonderful stay and we will come back. -

I'm not much of a golf or spa person; I picked the place mainly on location and having an outdoor pool. The pool or should I say pools is great. Very big, so you can get a real swim even if there are kids cavorting around, and there's a longer separate pool if you really want to pound along. The location is perfect if you want to be in the center of all the
historical sites. From our hotel room, we could see the beautiful cupola
of the church next door. The swimming pool/spa is beautiful and the
best feature of the hotel. The restaurant is located in an quaint
courtyard. Breakfast was nice but dinner at the restaurant was
outstanding!

This hotel has been beautifully architected within a historically
important building. We stayed 4 nights and the staff were very helpful,
and were particularly obliging when we wanted to change our room
(personal reasons) - they really wanted to ensure that we were happy.
Breakfasts were excellent. Location is also excellent with ease of
access to the historical sites.
