  We loved it here. The town of Nicolosi is welcoming and friendly, as is the B&B, really a small apartment. Shop at the butcher for some good Scicilan meat and sausages and pick up some fresh vegetables and wine from a barrel, at a friendly vendor and go back to the B&B to cook in the little kitchen. The house is ancient but well res - What we read in other comments was definitely true. The appartement was excellent and very clean and the hosts Maurizio and Cettina very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really great, 5 jellies, fresh bread and Mortadella/prosciutto juices and Sicilian icecream (Granita)! Nicolosi is a cosy village to stay. Close to Etna and Catania.   Friendly and knowledgeable staff. We loved the room though a little small--the bathroom was elegant and very comfortable. Breakfast was great with many tasty selections. We had an early morning departure flight and were so pleased that our driver, arranged by the staff, was ready at 4:30 AM.   The hotel is set just outside the historic village of Savoca and is accessed via a narrow roadway along a steep mountain ridge. Alessio, Silvio, Francesca, and Stefan were wonderful and welcoming in every way. It made for a family type of environment, which was absolutely perfect for my solo trip to the islands.   We loved Laura and her staff at Musciara Resort. They were professional and extremely attentive while also being warm and very approachable. Breakfasts (and lunch and dinner, if you wish) were delicious and served on the terrace right at seaside. The only one with a private beach, it was just great to start our trip there. For the boys they even could use a kayak which they enjoyed. Breakfast was amazing when comparing with Italy standards.
