The staff were extremely helpful and sympathetic. We had a small problem with a key, and they were eager to sort it out very quickly. The rooms are airy and comfortable (we stayed in 2 different ones on separate nights), and we were given a quiet one at the back when we asked for one. Very central, 2 mins away from piazza Duomo and Via Etnea and 5 mins
away from the market. Less than 10 mins from the port. It has a private
parking shared with the rest of the gated community which seemed to be
safe. The guesthouse has a lift as well and it was very good considering
the cheap price we payed. Wifi was also available, italian breakfast in
room and with a balcony for the street view. Very worth it if you're
not looking for luxury but the basics you need

The hosts were very friendly and although their English was limited we did communicate well using Google in need to translate.
The B&B is in a very quiet area despite being in a town.It is well located to visit Taormina and Mt Etna.

At the arrival not so sure about this place.
Once we met the owner (Manuela) it became "the peaceful oasis". Food/advice/information = ONLY the best from Manuela!

Very friendly staff, couldn't do enough for us. Great location

The hotel Is owned by Enrico, who took care himself about everything during our stay. The room was very clean, bed very comfortable and hot cookies that were made just a few minutes before breakfast were just amazing with cappuccino.
We were helped with taxi from airport and excellent transfer service to the Ferry in the morning. Will surely recommend this place to all travelers. Nick.

Il Carmine is very conveniently located in a quiet piazza about 200m from the centre of the the old hilltop town of Erice. The town itself is very busy with tourists so this was a big help. The charcter of the hotel derived a lot from its past as a monastery. The rooms were very clean if a bit austere but that's exactly what I expected. The staff were reserved but charming.

A lovely recent refurbishment, very spacious rooms, amazing bathroom with colour therapy built in!
It is run by Massimo, known as Salvatore :), and his lovely wife, who bakes all the bread and cakes for breakfast, so you really feel you're at home!
His restaurant recommendation turned out to be a triumph in fish dinners

The room was very spacious with an all singing all dancing bathroom and a good number of windows to let in light but no sound as they are double glazed. The breakfasts were generous, delicious and varied and the staff always prepared to give just the right coffee with a smile.

Owner was most helpful and provided the best restaurant recommendation we have EVER had! How the food was supplied at the quality and price I still don't understand. The location seems a bit dodgy at first glance but it is metres from the main drag leading to the atmospheric historical highlights. All in all a pretty cool establishment. -

I stayed at GH Garibaldi 3 nights with my fiance and it was a wonderful place. The lady helping us was sweet and even though she had some problems with english we managed quiet alright. we had a lovely terrasse and lived in a beautiful part of the town very close to water. -

The location is great. The rooms are value for money but are basic in
terms of comfort. They are cleaned every day, the towels are changed
daily as well. The kettle and tea, coffee, sugar are available for

This was truly the Duke's Palace! Three levels of luxury starting with a large bathroom with a spa shower, then up to a large bedroom with a king size bed, then up to a living room with sofa and chair and an outside patio. Huge breakfast on the patio, courteous and friendly staff- Daniele comes out to meet you and parks your car in his very tight garage; great location for shopping and sightseeing.
