  We adored this hotel. It's beautifully decorated with antiques etc. The location is perfect for the old part of Taormina and they run bus transfers to a couple of beaches for €8 and €10. If you arrive by bus and are unfamiliar with Taormina we recommend getting a cab to the hotel as it would be difficult to find initially. In fact as soon as we would arrive in reception they would leave whatever work they wer - Wonderfully helpful and friendly staff - a very pretty, small and intimate hotel. Breakfast was extremely good, with lots of choice and some local specialities which we liked very much. Quiet, but convenient for the centre of Taormina.

A family run Italian restaurant he recommended in Favara (King Bar) was very authentic and non-touristy.   Well sign-posted from the main road which is needed as the hotel is up in the hills. Excellent meal in the restaurant - meat cooked on an open air grill. I emailed reservation for restaurant in advance & had a reply within the hour. Very quiet & relaxing. - Great park like atmosphere. Very relaxing.
