Out of all the different options we had, we (3 friends) chose an apartment managed by Biriola Holiday - mainly because of the huge number of positive reviews. We were glad to be there in the low season, when Cala Gonone is almost empty (i.e. no tourists), -
We traveled to Cala Gonone as a young couple and found Residence Biriola very easy to find. Upon arriving we were greeted by Bruno, the elder statesman of the residence, who was quite simply charming. He took us around, showed us the garden at the back and told us we could help ourselves to the fresh herbs and chillis. We appreciated the perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness of all the staff. They kept going the extra mile, always carrying a smile to make us feel welcome.
The room was very well appointed, clean and comfortable.
However, the highlight of our stay was the superb dining experience combining well presented delicious Sardinian specialties with classy service in a pleasant atmosphere.
I almost forgot, the hotel is excellently located, right on the white sand beach.

I really liked the location even though you need a car to get around. There are very good restaurants nearby, great sandy beaches.
I liked privacy in the appartments, they are well equiped (except for missing bed sheets and towels which you have to pay for). Generally this is a quiet place for relaxing vacation. -

You can rent a car, bike, motorcycle ... Near Costa Rei Vilasimius possible and get on the buses.

That’s was pleasure to stay at Hotel Orlando Resort. Beautiful accommodation, kindly atmosphere, friendly staff, nice restaurant and good food, what else needed to stay near national park. -

We loved it! The facilities here are superb and we felt truly spoiled from the moment we arrived. Lovely big suite with very spacious terrace. We stayed on a half board basis and the food is very good, but gets a bit samey after a while, but all of the staff are exceptional and they LOVE children. There is a small kids club, which our little girl loved, and she made lots of friends.
