i liked very much the kindness of Antonella and Salvo who are really nice and good people. They explained to the kids everuthing about vulcano and etna before our trip on the Vulcano which was very nice. If you need something they will do their best to help you or provide it to you. Breakfast was the best we had in Sicily - highlights: selection of fresh croissants and freshly squeezed orange juice. Short walk to central Nicolosi. Highly recommended!

We loved it here. The town of Nicolosi is welcoming and friendly, as is the B&B, really a small apartment. Shop at the butcher for some good Scicilan meat and sausages and pick up some fresh vegetables and wine from a barrel, at a friendly vendor and go back to the B&B to cook in the little kitchen. What we read in other comments was definitely true. The appartement was excellent and very clean and the hosts Maurizio and Cettina very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really great, 5 jellies, fresh bread and Mortadella/prosciutto juices and Sicilian icecream (Granita)! Nicolosi is a cosy village to stay. Close to Etna and Catania. Excellent hotel, walking distance from the cable car going up Mount Etna.
We arrived late at night, but the man at the reception was extremely nice!! He explained all excursions, answered all of our questions (millions of them), and was able to share with us his love of the volcano. This certainly made our stay.
The room was great, super clean, wifi is great.

The location was great - bit tricky to find and don't be put off by the rather small and dirty lane way - the hotel is like an oasis.Beautiful pool and grounds. Restaurant was very good.
