Good, silent room. Good breakfast with nice tea, coffee, pastry and fruits (we have to add additional money this breakfast). Very professional friendly staff. Very good location, just near old city gates (5 minutes walking). Public free parking is near. Easy to find.

The location. It is simply stunning. The piazza is a really buzzy place. There are good restaurants all around the area; great home made pasta to bring back. Eating in is a delight, as the apartment has a better view than any restaurant. The facilities are fine. It's very clean, there are oodles of towels and the hot water is hot. We arrived into Lucca about 5:30 pm, though the entrance door was locked, we received one email from the owner about how to enter the building many days before arriving. The owners were friendly and very accomodating. They recommended local restaurants and made reservations on our behalf for the restaurant and a taxi. The location is great, just 2 blocks from the walled city so it was convenient for us walk or bicycle to the walled city. The complementary bicycles were a great plus. The lovely villa is set in the peaceful countryside,the only sound you hear at night is the clock town from the nearby village church. Utterly personal service. Happy to help, parking no problem in a restricted town at no extra charge. Will be back, can't say more that would matter. The room was tastefully done and the people are great. The garbagetrucks may wake you up in the morning so be sure to close the blinds. - It was a lovely room, very big. Shared bathroom was good and they provided soap shampoo and towels.
