Nice hotel, close to the old part of the city, the hotel has bikes for rent, so you can go to the old part of the city without any problems! We enjoyed the little spa as well. The location. It is simply stunning. The piazza is a really buzzy place. There are good restaurants all around the area; great home made pasta to bring back. Eating in is a delight, as the apartment has a better view than any restaurant. The facilities are fine. It's very clean, there are oodles of towels and the hot water is hot. We arrived into Lucca about 5:30 pm, though the entrance door was locked, we received one email from the owner about how to enter the building many days before arriving. We parked in the B&B private car park (outside the B&B there are many free parking space too.) We had no problem checking in because the owner so kindly left us a small fo

The owners were friendly and very accomodating. They recommended local restaurants and made reservations on our behalf for the restaurant and a taxi. The location is great, just 2 blocks from the walled city so it was convenient for us walk or bicycle to the walled city. The complementary bicycles were a great plus. There was also an area to park our car. The car dealer return was conveniently located only 3 blocks from the B&B. The main bedroom room was large and we had a private cove

I booked a room in Castello di Mammoli, but reception is located in Hotel Villa Volpi, where asked us if we want to stay in Hotel Villa Volpi instead in Castello di Mammoli, because they have free room.

The surroundings were absolutely beautiful. Large warm pool in a big, lush garden setting. Option to eat outdoors at each meal which we did. The room was a good size, excellent bed and the bathroom was modern with a nice bath. The oublic areas, bar and lounges were inviting and the staff were vey attentive. Overall it was fantastic.

The lovely villa is set in the peaceful countryside,the only sound you hear at night is the clock town from the nearby village church. A very good price for this type of hotel. really beautiful fournitures and design in a tipical lucca's house. excellent - the staffs were very friendly and we had exelent time. the room is well decorated and the location is the best.
