Very kind owner who kindly offered to pick us up from the station. Very charming room that is actually a studio flat with its own entrance and a cosy balcony. The place is in good location. I would highly reccomend it. -

We arrived very late the hotel had ensured that we were welcomed.
The room was large and comfortable and very warm.
The staff/owners were very helpful and the breakfast was more than we expected. The coffee was excellent.

Utterly personal service. Happy to help, parking no problem in a restricted town at no extra charge. Will be back, can't say more that would matter. We stayed in old part of hotel. Had just been freshly painted and was spotlessly clean. Brilliant location close to cathedral and very quiet. Had been told old part didn't have air conditioning, but it did and it worked efficiently. Room was modest, but cleaned each day and better than we had expected, given its 2 star status. Would definitely recommend it.

They allowed use to keep our room as we had a late flight and also provided us with a free calendar and ceramic plaque of Lucca. - The staff are always extra friendly, and give me a warm welcome. The staff were extremely helpful. The location was excellent. We had a 6 year old with us and the walk into Lucca city walls was managable. The bike hire arrangement was great and very resonably priced. The swimming pool was lovely.
