Located in the heart of Lecce’s historic centre, the Azzurretta features free Wi-Fi and a large equipped sun terrace. It offers spacious rooms and is only a 10-minute walk from Lecce Train Station. Set in a 16th-century building once belonging to a duke, the property has air-conditioned rooms with parquet floors, and a private bathroom. Each has city views, while some also come with a balcony. You will be given a voucher to enjoy breakfast at one of Lecce’s popular pastry shops. Breakfast consists of local sweet and savoury pastries, and a variety of hot drinks. The Azzurretta Guest House is a 5-minute walk from the Church of the Holy Cross and the cathedral. The sea is 13 km away, while Brindisi, Otranto and Gallipoli are within a 45-minutes’ drive. Staff can arrange massages for guests, as well as provide information about tours and excursions in the surrounding area.

The owner is very friendly and explained a lot about the city and things to do. He invited us to a local wine party, which was special to experience; dancing (pizzica) drinking (novello) and eating (porc) with only locals. Fantastic location, lovely building, very friendly, helpful staff. Lecce is a wonderful place and this guest house is perfectly situated in the old historic centre.
