  This bed and breakfast is very close to the San Basilio port where our ferry docked. It's a good thing the staff on the ferry explained to me that there is no rhyme or reason to the numbering of buildings in Venice, only that it will be in a certain area.   The was a very small hotel with a homey atmosphere. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. We loved the location because it was off the beaten path and we had to actually walk and see other things to get places. If you don't like to walk you can always take a water taxi.   The location was excellent. Just a few minutes from 2 vaporetto stations (waterbuses). Getting around was so easy, whether by vaporetto or walking, with something new around every corner. Carlo, our host was a wonderful gentleman, speaking excellent English and very helpful with all our questions. Breakfast was very good, with plenty to eat.
