Very friendly staff. The hotel is in a residential area in a grand old building with a lovely garden. Rooms were clean and comfortable. There is a snack and coffee machine in the lobby with cheap good coffee and drinks. -

We thought the staff were courteous and helpful. The setting of the hotel, slightly out of the centre of Rome, but close to the Metro was perfect. Location. Easy access to the Metro. Only two stops to the Colliseum. Room was clean and tidy. I stayed one night in a hotel in Ciampino, as my flight arrived at 20.30 and i wasnt sure how easy it would be to get to this hotel. Actually trains from Ciampino are regular and cost only 1.35 Euro, so in future I would probably go direct. - the price

The room we had was clean, comfortable and has a private bathroom just across the hall.
Al 138 Townhouse is a short walk from Trastevere a suburb of Rome that boasts many restaurants and bars to try.

We stayed at the B&B Hotel Roma Trastevere twice during our visit to
Italy. Overall, we thought the accommodations provided a lot of value
for the money. Our first room was quite small, with a very tiny
bathroom, but comfortable overall. The tram to the city center is right
outside of the hotel, making it convenient to get to the heart of Rome

It´s really close to the Trastevere railway station with the direct connection to the airport which is relatively fast and very comfortable.
The hotel is brand new and in modern style, mattresses are perfect and the rooms are cleaned every day. Towels and toilet paper included:)
Be aware of the code on the door which you must not forget. The receptionist will write it for you on the card which you have by yourself all the time which is also convenient so you don't ask the staff every time you
