  Excellent location (right next to Termini railway station)...short walking distance from main city-center. The room was quite big, however, the bathroom was quite small...worked well for the three of us though. A great price for the location and size and comfort of the room.   The location is very good, only 5 minutes walking from Manzini metro station (which is only 2 stations from Termini), and about 10-15 minutes the Colosseum, and the Forum on foot, or the tram no.3.   very clean room! Nice neibourhood and close to the bus (3 stops to the Colloseo) and metro station. Very good place to discover Rome and Vatican.   I was met with an unbelievable warmth from the 2 ladies at the reception. It was like they new me before, even though that was my very first time of staying in Max hotel. The room was beautifully refurbished and the bathroom was new. Breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the front desk is open 24 hours a day.   The Amalfi hotel is situated within walking distance of the main railway station and is great for making it an easy two stop holiday which is what we did. It is also within walking distance of the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. The beautiful Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore Church is just across the road. The staff are very friendly and helpful, giving out maps and marking all the places of interest o - My favourite thing about Amalfi by far was the absolutely lovely and wonderful lady who runs the breakfast buffet. She obviously takes so much pride in her work and is so friendly, bubbly and full of energy every morning. She goes to extra lengths to make everyone feel welcome and appreciated and gives a veritable tour of the buffet when the guests come in! What a lovely lady, thank you so much.
