  Marco waited 2 hours beyond the check-in time and greeted us with a smile. He is a wonderful host. The breakfast is at a restaurant next to Sante Croce which is approx a 5 minute walk and it is totally worth it. I think this may have been our favorite part of the stay- a hot drink and 2 delicious pastries. The breakfast makes this a super deal. This place is an apartment with 5 or 6 rooms. also 3 or 4 rooms outside the apartment but in the same floor. but this does not cause any problem.   My friend and I travelled to Florence for 4 days in March this year. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Stanze del David. The welcome and hospitality were superb. The entire B&B is impeccably clean and elegantly decorated, I felt like a princess in my room!   The location was great. Just far enough from the city center to be quiet at night. Only a 25 minute walk to the train station. A kitchen was great to have especially with kids. We could bring home leftovers and the kids could eat them later. Free parking right next to the apartment.   This was a perfect location being just a few meters off piazza de la signoria in the heart of Florence. Very close to sight seeing, shopping, river etc. The room was well designed with everything one would need including a small safe, it was very clean and the facilities were everything that I needed.
