+location - near the bridge Realto in San Marco district. Very nice location for seeing Venice. 2 minutes from Grand Canal if you arrive on vapporetto, there is an excess to the canal near the hotel entrance (30 metres) if you arrive by water taxi.
Very good place to stay in Venice in terms of value for money.

The beds and pillows were comfortable. The shower worked well and room size was very good. The breakfast was good supplying ham, cheese, and sweet breads. Canned fruit and yogurt were also available. Overall we were quite satisfied with Hotel Bartolomeo. The location was very good. Close to Rialto bridge and 10 minutes from San Marco square.

The location of the hotel was a major advantage - a 10 minute walk away from St Mark's Square, and all the shops that come in between. The staff were really friendly and cooperative. The location was great only a short walk from the pizzale Roma where we got the bus to and from the airport. Also just a short walk into the main attractions grand canal, st marks square. The staff were really helpful and friendly and were even sympathic when we did t arrive till late on the Monday night due to a delayed flight. -
