We enjoyed everything about our stay at San Lorenzo Rooms. San Lorenzo Rooms was just what we were looking for. It was well priced, the owner was was friendly and accommodating, it was smart and clean and it was near the railway station (albeit the other side from Rome's main attractions). We would return.

Among the heat of mid july and busy of tourists of streets of Rome I was so relieved to find a charming and very calm place to stay. The location is near to metro and bus connections to city center, but at the same time very quite and very green, two loarge public open parks are near to the hotel.

The room was lovely - clean, large and light. It was in a beautiful old palazzo with high ceilings. It was quiet and in an elegant and peaceful area of Rome, but with plenty of nearby places to eat and drink. We particularly appreciated the fact that you could use the shared kitchen to cook an evening meal, which as a family allowed us to save a bit of money on eating out.

right across the street from the Vatican and just a few minutes from the
museum entrance. It's a little bit longer walk to St. Peter's

An excellent little guest house situated on the walls of the Vatican. 10 minutes walk from St Peters at most and about the same distance from the nearest metro stop. You enter through a large door next to a fantastic ice cream shop. Through a courtyard and up some stairs. The room was small but smartly furnished. Free wifi and toiletries supplied too. The location is fantastic and the staff were helpful. The most important thing is that is fantastic value for money in Rome.

The location is excellent, right near Vatican city. We were in the
Michelangelo suite and had a nice view of the city. There is a very good
restaurant right around the corner, just start walking towards the
museum entrance and its the first one on the right. Also excellent

The metro was a couple of blocks away and we could easily get to all
the tourist attractions. We were right next to the Vatican and a 2
minute walk to St Peter's Square, and were lucky enough to be at
the b and b on the day the new Pope was chosen .... which made our trip
something to remember forever. Wi-fi worked perfectly. Lots of bars and
cafes and restaurants nearby to choose from in the evening. Massimo was
great and made sure everything ran smoothly at the b and B. Why are

The location is excellent in Rome,my wife and I walked to all attractions in Rome from there, with the help of a map. Arriving by train it about 10 minute walk from Metro station to hotel. Luigi, the owner, is very friendly in welcoming us and giving us the necessary information.
The location is 5-8 minutes walking from Metro station Ottaviano. The surrounding feels safe, also after dark, and it is easy to find a place to have/get breakfast in the morning.
Brioche and coffee/tea machine free to use is maybe simple but gave us a home feeling and is very handy.
Room is generally clean and comfortable. Simple, but all necessities are there.
