  Excellent hotel in a very good location just off Maggiore Piazza. The staff were friendly and helpful. I drove to the hotel and they looked after city driving permit and parking. I used sat nav to find hotel which got me to the front door, unfortunately via a pedestrian area! Still I learnt some new Italian phrases. Would it be possible to includ... τι λέει ο κόσμος » e a sat nav reference to take you to the garage rear door in the booking information. - Great location, lovely staff, elegantly furnished - more than worthy of its three stars. A tasty breakfast was offered in a stylish dining room from 06:45 until 10:30 so great for tourists and business travellers alike. You couldn't be any more central (convenient for shops & sights), yet it wasn't really noisy. A lovely hotel in a lovely city - what a find!

  I agree with the person who asked whether they had stayed at the same hotel as many of the other reviewers. Having read the reviews, I expected something like the house in the Addams Family. The lobby was comfortable, the staff were helpful, the room was neat, and the price and location were unbeatable. It's not the place for a romanti - Historical nature of building; space in rooms (much larger than most hotel rooms in Italy, extremely spacious bathroom); nice paintings and furnishings; large lobby; free wifi; helpfulness of staff; reasonable (but not exceptional) breakfast (fresh fruit would be nice)

  The Hotel was just about perfect, from the location, 20Metres or so off the main drag to our room being very quiet, the room was large and spacious , with a free fridge and small safe (again free of charge ) big enough for a small lap top. The bed was very, very comfortable (subjective I know ) with good quality linen and pillows plus spares. Also... τι λέει ο κόσμος » supplied was a towelling robe and toiletries. Breakfast was as good as any I have had in Italy and better than most, so no complaints there. All in a - The Hotel Cavour was perfect for staying in Bologna. Only five minutes walk from the centre and ten minutes to the station. It was exceptionally clean, the staff were helpful and the breakfast each day was amazing - cereals, ham, cheese, pastries, juices, tea, coffee etc etc. Room was large with air conditioning and the bathroom was fine. Would stay there again.

  The ladies at reception were incredibly nice and helpful. The hotel is located just off of the main street close to the main square. It had air conditioning and we had a great sleep in the bed. - The staff were very friendly. The room was big and the right temperature for March.   I thought the location of the room was excellent. I loved that it took advantage ofr the canal. I felt that in in-house internet was soooo convenient and a reasonable price. - Fantastic location. We had a big room, overlooking the canal, very clean. Nice breakfast, staff very helpful and friendly. We would recommend this hotel to anybody.

  The workers of the hotel specially the two gentlemen in the reception area are very accommodating and always smiling. The lady in the breakfast is very nice specially if I always request for café since most of the food specially the meat cucine I do not eat.   The central location and friendliness of staff - I liked the Zanhotel Regina very much, since the hotel is situated near the town center and the railway station and all the important sightseeing points can be easily reached on foot!
