An easy walk from Piazzale Roma bus station and Santa Lucia train station (no boat to catch, no dragging suitcases through the heavy tourist traffic). There was absolutely no noise from the train station or the canal adjacent the apartments.
Due to the location you do not get large numbers of passers by, so very peaceful.

The apartment was a lovely surprise. The building is quite new on two levels curving around a canal with a residential piazza at the front. The apartment we had is upstairs, sparkling clean, light, comfortable and well equipped. It is located a 10 minute walk from the station. We couldn't find it immediately but on the second walk past we realised that each house has its own number in the locality, rather than a street number. Extremely positive attitude from the rep of the company that lets the apartment - very helpful in every respect. We also liked a terrace - though quite small, it was good we had it. Location was also very convenient - no noise, but very close to Ca'Razzonico vaporetto stop and one of major squares - St. Margherita, as well as shops and restaurants. Air-conditioner also is a huge advantage - we would not survive in Venice in July without it.
