Very friendly and helpful staff. Perfectly located near the city center with a lot of bars and cheap and good restaurants in the near vicinity. Big apartment, equipped with everything you need to cook yourself (we had the Rita Hayworth apartment).

Location is handy to main train station, and to town centre - the stuff was very nice, position, rooms was in old french style and were very nice, hot water, wi-fi

I thought the location of the room was excellent. I loved that it took advantage ofr the canal. I felt that in in-house internet was soooo convenient and a reasonable price. - Fantastic location. We had a big room, overlooking the canal, very clean. Nice breakfast, staff very helpful and friendly. We would recommend this hotel to anybody.

The Hotel was just about perfect, from the location, 20Metres or so off the main drag to our room being very quiet, the room was large and spacious , with a free fridge and small safe (again free of charge ) big enough for a small lap top.
The bed was very, very comfortable (subjective I know ) with good quality linen and pillows plus spares.

Breakfast was as good as any I have had in Italy and better than most, so no complaints there.

The Hotel Cavour was perfect for staying in Bologna. Only five minutes walk from the centre and ten minutes to the station. It was exceptionally clean, the staff were helpful and the breakfast each day was amazing - cereals, ham, cheese, pastries, juices, tea, coffee etc etc. Room was large with air conditioning and the bathroom was fine. Would stay there again.

The hotel staff went out of their way to make our dogs welcome, and were generally very helpful and friendly. Lovely room, great location and parking next door. - Excellent location, very helpfully staff, loved the room we had an attic room on 4th floor ( superior) access to internet

Excellent food in hotel restaurant and catered for all dietary requirements. Hotel within easy walking distance to the town centre and secure parking avaliable. Clean, modern rooms - would definately stay here again.

Nice to have the little extra: a kettle with tea, coffee; even a chocolate on the bedside table; sleepers. Nowadays, hotels reduce extra; not Starhotels Excelsior in Bologna - We liked it

friendly staff/location good - The hotel is down a side street/alley which initially seemed out of the way but actually ensured its being a quiet place to stay. The staff was very accomodating and friendly, the hotel is centrally located, and the breakfast was adequate.
