We loved Andreas. He's the most organized, warm, friendly, patient manager I've met during our 10 day trip to Italy. He would have no problem managing upscale hotels like the Ritz. He responded immediately, from the moment we booked online. He always greets us by name and with a smile. Really enjoyed our stay here. Just realize that European hotels are
different from us cookie-cutter hotels. Tucked away from noisy tourist

We have really enjoyed our stay at Ca'Sant'Angelo. The location is perfect for starting by and coming back from a visiting day by feet, the vaporetto and the schuttle station to the airport are on the corner. The apartment was very clean, with a high ceiling, a view to the sant'angelo square which is very quiet at night. It was equiped with wasching machine, towels enougth, iron, etc.
The staff was absolutely available, flexible and very nice.

We stayed in a 2/Bedroom 6 sleeper apartment which we found to be very spacious, well appointed and clean. The staff were very helpful. Being our first visit to Venice and having read that it was a little difficult to find (true as the venue is not well sign-posted), we called the duty manager from the nearest water taxi stop (S. Venice is a small city (for me anyway) but hard to navigate, so people
will get lost (I got delightfully lost several times), but I thought
Residenza La Loggia was super easy to find. With only the map provided
from their website I went straight from the St. Mark's vaporetto

The hotel is just off main walking alley Calle dei Fabbri some 4 minutes north from San Marco. The distance between houses on opposite side in this area are tiny co do not expect any view from your window. If you do not mind this then Residenza la Loggia might be just the right place for your stay. Although the menu was the same each day, the food was plentiful freshly prepared. The breakfast room staff were very accomodating. The front desk staff were very attentive to any requests, very helpful and graciously answered our many questions, especially Carlos. The room and hotel was very clean and nicely furnished. It's a good value for the money spent in a city where some businesses easily gouge tourists. The staff are very friendly and accomodating, providing answers to every question we had. The breakfast is a cut above the standard European fare and the location can't be beat.
