  This place was great. The lady who checked us in was lovely and gave us a great map for the things we needed to see as we were only there for one night. From the hotel it's a really easy walk to the old part of town, some great sights and the waterfront.   We arrive in Genoa to find out there would be a train strike on the day we were to leave. We had booked 2 nights at the hotel. We explained to the lovely young lady about our predicament and that we wanted to only stay one night as we did not want to get caught up in the train strike.
