  We enjoyed our stay in Palazzo Vitturi. The staff was very friendly, the room was clean and quiet, the breakfast was good. The hotel is positioned very conveniently at an equal distance from San Marco and Rialto. We had a late arrival but the staff was very friendly and helpfull and we did not have any problems.   We recently stayed at Hotel Al Piave in the 2 bedroom family suite. The rooms were clean and exactly as advertised (2 rooms and a bathroom). Prior to choosing Hotel Al Piave, I had read the negative customer ratings just to see what the worst case scenario could end being, along with how the hotel management responded. The only negative comment could have be - We had a family suite for four, ideal for us with two adult children on the trip with us. Great location for exploring Venice. Staff helpful with lots of advice, maps provided & guidance for getting around & where to go.

  The location of the hotel was excellent, as it was quiet, yet just off a lovely square. It was so close to the grand canal and therefore easy for transport and sightseeing, eating out etc. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious for 3 of us with a decent size bathroom and I liked the fact it was on the ground floor and had its own hall, whic - This is a small and older style hotel but had real character, it is in a little alleyway not far from the Rialto Bridge so the location is excellent. Hotel Staff were very friendly and happy to accommodate, the lady at reception gave us a map and showed us the way to the major attractions as well as her favourite cafes and restaurants. The hotel courtyard was a lovely little place to sit for your breakfast.
