we had a 3 bed room which was very big for Florence and nicely decorated, big bathroom too. the administrator friendly, he recommended a very nice restaurant( expensive but worth the money) . -
decoration is very nice. personal is very friendly and intimate. room is comfortable, bathroom is also big.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located about 10 -12 min walk from Florence SMN train station. The hotel is on the third floor of the building without elevator, but the owner has helped with our luggage, so it was not an issue at all. Very clean and quiet. The Locanda dei Guelfi proved to be a good choice for us and we enjoyed
our stay there. You never know quite what to expect even if you have
read the reviews before you go. We had no difficulty in finding the
hotel and the steps up to the third floor were not an issue for us
although I can see that it might be a problem for some. The location is
excellent although the area is quite busy but this was not a problem for
us. The room and facilities were very clean and the bed was very
comfortable.

Beautiful contemporary design, fabulous service, incredible location, artsy and intimate....what a find. Claudio, Roberta and Sylvia were amazing, they recommended exceptional restaurants, organized tours and taxis and guided you to the must see sites. Free coffee/tea/treats throughout the day...dishware/glassware available to use in room. Fantastic café around the corner with very generous breakfast included. We really enjoyed our stay, the owner Enrico is such a nice guy, my husband got sick while we are in Florence, he helped us to call the doctor, we also stayed for another 2 hours after the official checkout time just so we are in time to catch the train, and he was all good with that. Everything was great! From the beginning the staff gave us spot on
information to reach the apartment, met us their on time and helped

We just loved this quaint little apartment. Although small all that was required was provided for and in good working order.
Washing machine was also easy to use.
Bed linen and towels good quality and apartment was clean. Of course location was fantastic and we had no noise issues. In fact we enjoyed getting a bit of taste hearing about some Italian domestic life while sitting on the balcony.
