Wonderful hotel on top of the mountain overlooking the Tuscan countryside of Cortona.rooms were smallish but the bed and linen were great and the view is to die for.
Hotel entry is at the top floor and you go down from there.
Cortona township is only 50 metres from hotel with great food and shops. Concierge could not do enough for us. Highly recom

Great location close to Cortona Village, supermarkets. Fantastic hosts,
gives lots of helpful tips and directions, any issues sorted
immediately. Speaks pretty good English also which Is great. Amazing

We were booked in for one night and loved it so much we stayed four nights. The apartment is spacious and comfortable with a real Tuscan feel about it. Very relaxing in a rural setting with Cortona less than 10 minutes away. Donata made us feel welcome and provided much information about Cortona and surrounding areas. Ideally located for exploring neighbouring towns and villages. Donata provided excellent hospitality to us and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, a home away from home.

We spent two weeks at I Nidi de Cortona and loved it there. We were travelling with 3 adult family and the Rondine apartment was very suitable for the 5 of us. Comfortable, clean and well fitted out. We had a fantastic stay. The people could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable. They even sorted out our car when it broke down, not wanting any payment for doing so. Clean and big room. The view from the big terrace on the area behind the hotel is great, nice place to sit and enjoy the view in the mornng. Also localization in Cortona is great. It is a good place to stay and a great point in the middle of Tuscany, so you can reach many places around with a car. Staff was also nice and helpfull and we enjoyed our stay very much.

The care with which the place is designed, the attention to detail and comfort of guests, unobtrusive service, excellent restaurant on site, clean bathroom and daily room service. While we were there temperature soared to 40 degrees celcius so the swimming pool was a welcome relief. All in all the stay was uplifting for the soul. -

Our trip to Italy started with alot of challenges which led us to
arrive the property very late at 12 midnight. Yet Vittorio welcomed us
with a huge smile on his face though he waited for us after a 3 hour
delay. We stayed in a suite (so worth it!!!) and had a view that was
very magical to wake up to. The grounds of this property was very

Simply the best! Where to start: That Vittorio hops in the car to pick us up, when we get lost without a GPS. That we enter one of the two beautifully restored buildings to be shown not only to a room but to a spacious, lovingly furnished apartment. Plus there is a fully equipped kitchen/ living room with a fireplace to share with the upstairs apartment. The garden with its flowers is perfectly tended and shows the owners great love and passion for their property. And the breakfast! Vittorio´s

The family that owns and manages Fattoria Le Giare Agriturismo couldn't be friendlier and more accommodating. The views are just spectacular too! It makes for a wonderful Tuscan base from which to take day trips to other Tuscan towns.
