Just returned from B&B. It was wonderful, looks like in the photos
(even better). Laura is the best host I ever meet. The location is
perfect, not far from the Citta Alta(25-30 min walking), quiet, close to
the forest. In the morning I woke up with birds singing; after a
delicious breakfast with regional products. The B&B it's so

Wow! Just peruse the photos and magnify by 100. So well detailed for
charm, ease of stay, beauty and so close to lovely Bergamo. If you are
tired of millions of tourists I reccomend that you come to Laura's
and enjoy the hospitality, beautiful wooded countryside the Old and New
town of Bergamo. The interior of the Bergamo churches exceed Venice. You
will enjoy exploring both new and Alta Citi and the Italian Lakes to the
east of Bergamo along with the vineyards which look and feel like
Chianti.

Excellent accommodation, close to the airport - ideal for catching an early morning flight. Very spacious, especially for the teenagers in the group who loved their mezzanine quarters. Would definitely return to this accommodation. -

Sympathetically renovated to retain old features with modern facilities, spotless, staff very helpful and friendly, excellent breakfast with homemade goodies and choice of English cooked or traditional Italian. We had a kitchenette with table and sofa and large, comfortable bed, mountain view over roofs from top floor room. 5 minute walk to modern city /airport bus.

We have stayed in Agriturismo establishments twice now, and it is a fantastic concept - cross between B+B and a full-on hotel, situated in beautiful surroundings all with a Mama Mia touch.
The food, prepared mainly from local ingredients - a Agriturismo requirement - is to die for, and the view fantastic. -
My first comment on any hotel I've stay

The apartment is in the centre of city in a quiet area and you can easily walk to get the furnicular to the beautiful old town. The apartment is very modern, spacious and beautiful. The apartment itself was suprisingly spacious and comfortable. Great location halfway between The Old City and the City Center in small quiet street and with charming patio.
Looking forward to visit this place again!

Just the bathroom was worth the money - fantastic design work! The room itself was also really nice and very roomy. Located in walking distance from the railroad station and about 15 Euro from the Airport. Even though we arrived late at night,we loved the spacious, clean room and it's elegant atmoshere! And because we had to catch an early flight in the morning and we wouldn't be able to have breakfast, Carla ( the owner), brought us in our room a tray with juice ,biscuits, yogurt . It was greatly appreciated! /Grazie mille e arrivederci!! :)

We travel idependently and La Castellan is really well situated for
both rail and airport transfers. Great value and has everything you
need ideal, if a littel old fashioned which is exactly what you would
expect in a 17 century building. For a weekend break. I would be happy
to return.
The owner is really friendly and veryhelpful and speaks good English.

A beautifully converted palazzia - all modern amenieties in a beautiful old building. The hotel even provided parking vouchers for a nearby square - excellent service! - Hotel has lots of character and is very conveniently situated in the old town. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The temperature of the bedroom was easily adjusted. Despite the fact we were near the airport and a busy road there was little noise and heavy curtains blocked out the daylight. The friendliest receptionist we have ever met - very very helpful. Breakfast was good but with a small variety. The Wi-fi signal was very good. Free parking across the street or underground parking available but no access between 10:00pm and 7:00am to the parking lot. -
