  My girlfriend and I spent several days staying here in September 2013. As many others have said, Alessandro and Monica are wonderfully hospitable and helpful. To put this into context, down the years I have travelled to well over 100 countries, staying in all manner of accommodation from 5* hotels to backpacker hostels. We were supposed to be self-catering but Monica brought us de - Il Sogno is in a stunning location, very peaceful, with lovely accommodation and a beautiful pool area. Alessandro is a mine of information and will advise on the best beaches and places to eat - and his wife will bake you the most beautiful cake and bread! Wonderful hosts and wonderful location, what more could you ask for!! I would recommend to anybody looking for a beautiful retreat in the countryside with a quick car journey into Alghero town.

  Amazing views from the room out to sea. We were the only people by the hot tub in the grounds most of the time so felt like a private garden (but with to-the-sun-lounger bar service) lovely staff, very close to the great restaurants in the old town - 5 mins walk along the pretty sea front. There is parking as well that isn't made obvious when booking. - Villa Mosca is a beautiful hotel with very comfortable and clean rooms. We stayed in the Comfort room in the attic as this was the only room available and it was perfect for us. The decor is simplistic and luxurious and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The best point is it is in a great location right by the sea and walking distance to the town and restaurants and bars.

  Its a good situated hotel. We spend a week in the apartment and we loved it. Personal was realy kind and the apartment was clean and the beds oke. 1 minut away there is a big supermarket. The pool is lovely. In frond of the hotel is the see and lovely restaurants on the beach. Superplace to stay. We rent bikes for all the week so we never have to ... τι λέει ο κόσμος » walk to the small city. But even you can do the walk. Nice place to stay! - Lovely apartment with 2 balconies - one facing the street with partial sea view off the lounge and the balcony off the bedroom faced the pool and had a sea view. The beds were comfortable and we had extra blankets for the nippy nights (we went in early May). Location is a nice 20 minute walk from the old town and there is a beautiful prominade all the way. Loved Alghero and LOVED Residence Picalé.

  Very clean and nicely decorated with plenty towels/ spare linen. Spacious for a 2 bed apartment with a huge balcony. Well stocked kitchen, with good crockery, pans etc. The receptionist was lovely and very helpful. Our out of hours arrival was very smooth and organised. Location for the city beach and driving north out of town to airport/ more se... τι λέει ο κόσμος » cluded beaches/ Neptunes Grotto was ideal. - We have already stayed in the same residence 3 years ago, so we were familiar with the service and I can only say that it is still excellent. Clean, spacious apartment with huge terrace and good location. Plus, very helpful owner. We will definitely come back.

Promenade walk, about a mile, into town much better - gardenia is absolutely close to th e beach, city center is also very close (walking distance.max 30 min.).supermarket in same building where u can buy everything. swimming pool was also nice and u can use it even after your check-out. lady at the recepion very nice and helpful.

  It was spotlessly clean and all the necessities were there. The beds were good. The lady at the reception was extremely friendly and helpful. We could park right outside the hotel and there was a nice beach right across the street and only a short walk to the town with shopping, restaurants and cafés. - Although I booked a two room apartment for ... τι λέει ο κόσμος » 6 people we got three room apartment for the same price so we didn`t have to use the sofa bed in the living room. It was a great surprise. The apartment was newly furnished and very clean - above my expectation.
