It was an apartment, redesigned by the owner, with very good taste. Everything we can think of was available for us in the house. He and his wife were very helpfull and friendly, and he has a shop right below, so you can find him easily.

The room was very large and comfortable. The facilities were superb. The fridge was fully laden with water cheese ham yogurts milk cold drinks, and the cupboard was stacked with bread croissants cutlery tea coffee. More than enough. We had a fine balcony and although it overlooked the street, it was nice to be able to sit out and enjoy a tea time drink. It is centrally located only 2 minutes walk from the front and the old town. Couldn't fault it.

Very, very big room (appartment!), very big bathroom (with two sinks!), and very big bath, with very large balcony. 10 minute walk to the city centre however always place to park your car. Situated near to the wonderful restaurant La Lanterna (tip!) Very special to have breakfast in the house of the hostess and she (Rita) is very open and friendly

The accomodation was very spacious, bed very comfortable and kept extremely clean. It has a home from home feeling and you can relax. It is close to the old town of Alghero but also close to the promenade and easy to get to buses for exploring. The landlady Rita is the most wonderful, friendly, caring person, and made our trip very enjoyable.

Blue Dolphin is one of the best accomadations I've ever stayed at. Roberto, the owner, is so kind and friendly and enjoys what he does. This is a small family run B&B. They really are inviting you into their home and city. Maria Grazia is there for breakfast and is eager to help with any recommendations for your stay, and she speaks perfect English. The rooms are clean and well kept. Nice large balcony. The breakfast was very filling. They kept our bags for the day as we had a night flight, and were even kind enough to let us shower after we returned from the beach. Overall great stay.

Michele (the owner) is really nice and gives you a lot of useful
advices. On our last day he even drove us to the airport. He is really
trying his best to accommodate you (E.G. printing us vouchers for car
rental, recommending restaurants and trips, etc.).
Rooms are really nice, comfortable and clean. Before coming to Alghero I was a bit afraid about the comments of other guest about dogs barking all night and this was never the case in our 10-days stay.

- Great location, less then 5 min from the beach and supermarket. 15 min
walking till the old town.
- Possibillity to rent bikes, is a good way to explore the surroundings.
- Very friendly and warm owners, Antonio and Gavina. Gavina made the breakfast and gave us advice for things to do (she told us for example that there was a market in town).

Amazing views from the room out to sea. We were the only people by the hot tub in the grounds most of the time so felt like a private garden (but with to-the-sun-lounger bar service) lovely staff, very close to the great restaurants in the old town - 5 mins walk along the pretty sea front. Villa Mosca is a beautiful hotel with very comfortable and clean rooms. We stayed in the Comfort room in the attic as this was the only room available and it was perfect for us. The decor is simplistic and luxurious and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The best point is it is in a great location right by the sea and walking distance to the town and restaurants and bars.

The owners emailes me 1 week before my stay, giving me information about how to get there, asking what type of bed I want, etc. They even offered to come and pick me up by car from the port area. We stayed for only 2 nights but I would choose this place again. In spite of proximity to the beach and old city center you dont feel like living on Khao San. You are staying in Italy among Italians but still close to POI. Room is quite big, clean and street not noisy. Even though they don't have 24 hour service no problem with late and delayed arrival like ours at 2 am. WiFi working well.

Everything was just perfect! The hotel was very easy to reach from the
airport (bus stop was just a few metres from the hotel). At first it
didn't seem like much from the outside, just an ordinary block of
flats with one flat converted for guests, but everything changed once we

Stafano is a very helpfull owner of the BB Alghero republic - always willing to share with you tips & tricks what to see and do in Alghero & surrounding.
In fact, BB Alghero Republic is a flat with 2 rooms for rent and 1 room where the landlord lives, what gives you a warm feeling of hospitability.
With the bargain price we have got it's a great place to stay in Alghero.
BB Alghero Republic is less than 200m to harbour, bus stop, supermarket and historical center.
