  Booked last minute - chose as it had good reviews and a pool, and really liked it.... There is a shuttle bus, which you need to book, and bus is cheap and not far.... This hotel would in my opinion cost more than twice as much if - Excellent hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed stay. Very comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Extremely clean and staff helpful. Good breakfast. Indoor pool available until 9pm. 3.5km to the city centre, but shuttle bus available and public bus stop directly outside the hotel.

  If I could give La Torre 6 stars for staff & location, I would! Signora Lucia made sure she drew us up a complete tour tailor-made to our available time in Verona, along with excellent recommendations for gelato, dinner, etc. She is an absolute gem. Nice breakfast (including lovely pastries from nearby bakery), good-sized room, very clean, only 1 flight up (but lift available - Everything about the B&B was perfect. In the heart of the old city, the B&B is ideally situated just off the main shopping street and only a few minutes walk from the arena, Piazza Erbe, Romeo and Juliet's houses. The B&B rooms cannot be faulted. They are furnished to the highest standard and with great style. They are well equipped down to the tiniest detail! Breakfast was outstanding and nothing was too much for the adorable Signora Lucia. A truly amazing stay. We will return!

  Nice, atmospheric hotel. Good location. - The hotel is really well located. Even from the train station, the busstops at the corner of the hotel street (4-5 stops).   Totally enjoyed the peace and quiet and relaxed atmosphere at the hotel. The facilities were wonderful. Staff very friendly and helpful.   Perfect for young children - the pool is split in two and the main part goes from ankle depth to only knee deep and has a sandy bottom so great for tiny kids. Also two sandpits next to the pool. very easy to keep an eye on the kids. Also a big playroom in the basement - a bit dirty and dark but our 4 year old loved it. The accommodation was excellent for a family of six and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast food was also very good.
