Extremely friendly and helpful staff. We asked where we could buy some
fruit, and they brought us delicious watermelon from the kitchen. The
garden location for the Israeli breakfast (a great spread) is really
pretty and peaceful. Nice park across the street from the hotel with a
good cafe, too. -

The hotel is really intrestingly decorated, it felt pleasant to stay
there, like on the island of art. The room was nice and clean, probably
not big enough for someone, but it was really just perfect for us. The
area is quite shabby, though I would say it is characteristic of the
whole Haifa, except the centre, that is 15 minutes walk from the hot

which is also just fine. Guy at the reception was very helpfull, a/c
worked well, tea and coffee in the room served as a very nice
compliment. -
We arrived late in the evening and got SUITE room instead of Standard double - beacuse all of them very busy already. That was a very pleasant surprise. Huge balcony, city view, good location. Extremely helpful stuff. Really ART hotel - some nice sculptures, pictures - nice and interesting idea to decorate the hotel. Tasty breakfast.

Very warm welcome, well organized.
We have been 3 mature couples and had a problem with the tires of our rented bus. The management was extremely helpful. We rented room in the hotel for 3 nights. Room was always clean and
quite. There is kitchen with refrigerator and small appliances. The

We were 5 people and this hotel was really good for us. It's located a bit away from main road so it is not too noisy but close enough to the lake and center. Good beds! We had a view over the lake - very nice. Bathroom is big enough with clean towels. Breakfast is a separate issue, many people are writing about it - and I have to say we were impressed. Breakfast is seved in a higher class hotel next door and it was excellent and very rich.

First post on letsbookhotel.com. Me, my wife and 2 children (12 & 9)
stayed at g38 for 10 days. This was our fist experience in this type of
'hotel'. There's no maid service, or changing of linens, or
bringing new towels every day so if you're looking for a traditional
hotel this is not the place for you. It's more like apartment

We stayed in Haifa for our Bahá'i Pilgrimage, and couldn't have felt more at home. We have stayed in other Haifa hotels, but the accommodations at G38, the location and the value were unmatched.
The owners, David and Moshe, were gracious, professional and attentive. We would stay there again without hesitation and highly recommend G38--especially for fellow Bahá'is. We appreciated the kitchen and the ability to cook meals in our apartment.

Piña Balev is a delightful relaxing oasis in Northern Israel. The rooms
are beautiful and well appointed including in-room cappuccino makers.
The service is wonderful, with all of the amenities including lovely
soaps, wine and fruit on arrival and a variety of coffee, tea, milk and
yogurt in the refrigerator. Our room was huge with a beautiful large
balcony. The garden with hot tub and hammocks was a great retreat after

First of all you should know that this looks more like an apart hotel
or a room rental than a hotel. Louis m was a wonderful surprise. The
staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave me great recomendations
and maps and were really pleasant yo talk. The rooms were wonderful.

good service. all receptionists are very helpful, on of them even borrowed me money for taxi when i didn't have local currency. spacious room, clean, quit, all the necessary things there- knives, forks, spoons, plates, cups... excellent location- in the center of the city. i have traveled to jurasulem and tel aviv as well and stayed in similarly priced hotels and this one is the best.

When we submitted our order, they contacted us right away to advise that they didnt have exactly what we needed for what we ordered. So they changed our room to accommodate my husband's needs. They have no elevators, so needed a bottom floor! -
Perfect location just next to the beach promenade and very close to the sandy beach. Room was clean and well equiped and everything was new. The staff was friendly and helpful. We could make our dinner on the roof terrace - it was very nice.
