Between the city of Be'er Sheva and the Dead Sea, Desert View enjoys a quiet location in Arad. It offers a large garden with BBQ and suites with a balcony plus kitchenette. Wi-Fi is free throughout. As its name suggests, this property offers beautiful views of the Negev Desert. Staff can offer useful information on hiking and walking excursions in the local area. Spacious, air-conditioned rooms at the Desert View feature a separate lounge area with satellite TV and a fully equipped kitchenette. The property offers free parking and is 40 minutes' drive from central Be'er Sheva. Ein Bokek on the Dead Sea is reachable by car in 25 minutes. The cable car to the fortress of Masada is 50 minutes' drive away, while Mount Amasa and various wineries are 20 minutes away by car. Staff organise trips to the Dead Sea, bike rental and Jeep tours of Negev Desert. Excursions are also available to Ein Gedi, a beautiful oasis and nature reserve.

Located in Arad, close to Dead sea, Masada, En Geidi, etc. Mr. Avi owns a house and lives upstairs, 4 appts downstairs are to rent. I travelled with mom and we had a very good time, Avi is always ready to assist, told us what to see and what to do, treated us with home made cakes and coffee. Rooms are nice and clean. If you travel by car it's the best choice to stay. There is a nice pool in Arad, winery and different paths through mountains, max 30 mins by car to the Dead sea.

Desert view is ideally located to visit the various touristic places in and around the Negev ( dead sea, eing gedi oasis, masada, makhtesh ramon,...etc). Even if we didn't have time to taste it, Avi can prepare a real israeli breakfast for you. Me Cohen was the friendliest most helpful host. From the minute we arrived we felt we were styling with friends. He did everything to make us welcome and comfortable. He even made us an evening meal. He told us where to go and checked we had enjoyed his recommendations. Great for families. Owner Avi has turned the lower part of his house into 4 self-contained apartments. Our rooms overlooked the garden terrace, and were clean, comfortable and quiet. The apartment was not luxurious, just typical domestic furniture. We were made to feel very welcome. Avi the owner was very friendly and helpful. The place was comfortable and clean. The location was very good, and the experience was excellent! We highly recommend the place!. The owner of the place he is just amazing person! It was so comfortable there and romantic. He has a wonderful garden. The place was well kept and Avi, the landlord, was friendly and helpful. Clean, comfortable and complete lodging. Avi, the owner of "Desert View" is a very friendly, polite and helpful person. The breakfast is very delicious. A great home like stay in Arad, the owner most friendly and helpful in all regards. Cohen, the guest was pretty friendly. Good location, clean apartment. Nice, quiet place to stay. Little as compared to what we have expected looking at the descripition and pictures on the website. The owner is friendly and breakfast is nice though. The location of the town is good should you want to travel across the desert. Nothing. I will come again. Although we didn't need it in such a beautiful place, the tv didn't work. Honestly, it was no big deal for us but our daughter wasn't able to watch Dora. But we have to admit we appreciated the break (what awful parents we are! Lol). Can be a bit tricky to find the place, its 15 minutes walk from the city centre of Arad in the suburbs. The fridge was noisy. Nothing!. It was a bit on the expensive side. The only concern is if you use it as a base to get to the Dead Sea area every day like I did its a bit of a drive - that it not an issue for Desert View more a consideration for people staying. all in all 9/10. Could use a little updating but still clean and kept up very well. Nothing. Overpriced! For that amount of money you expect much more than an average apartment in a private house. And you don't get a real desert view.
