The Ashe Townhouse offers quality bed and breakfast accommodation, centrally located in Tralee town centre, opposite the Town Park, and was originally constructed in 1823.
It is comprised of 12 bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and 2 family suites. While it has been completely refurbished, it keeps the original Georgian style, look and feel in every detail, while incorporating all the modern conveniences you would expect nowadays.

the staff was very fine, very professional, the rooms had wonderful character. The beds were very comfortable. The location was great. The front desk staff were very helpful.locality. accessibility to town centre. Nothing except its location. bad experience, this is not a restored Georgian House- shabby, damp, peeling paint, curtains falling off windows, this is not a hotel, or a bed and B. it is hostel type accommodation. wish I had read the reviews ! asked to pay up front on arrival. you should consider removing this establishment from your list.όλα τα σχόλια »
I would not recommend this hotel. it should be classified as hostel type accomadation. double. Central location. reception could be improved.. very poor standard of cleanliness.. dirty lockers, curtains worn and not hanging properly.. kitchen conditions basic. Strong oil smell once you entered building. The double bed sheets were stained. We slept in two single beds. Somebody had left a dirty towel under the double bed. We didn't have breakfast as we didnt trust the hygiene there. breakfast miserable, limited choice, cold plates and food (how hard is it to do beans on toast ?) view from our back window to area littered with rotting fruit, old socks (!) weeds etc. - had to ask for waste bin, bath matt, plug for sink, extra towels, light bulb for bedside lamp. Locked out of accommodation on Sat. at lunch time as no staff on premises, gained access as another guest was leaving. This was not a hotel it was a hostel. Noisy guests, double bed was not a double bed but big single. room tiny. no clean towels upon arrival. requested quiet room at time of reservation got room on main street at front of hotel. Loads of flies in the room. Horrible experience for 80 euro. Very uncomfortable bed, very loud noise in hotel from other guests, tiny tv too high on wall and no remote control, bad decor, insufficient lighting, cold...we considered the room overpriced - not good value for money.Room, Not enough room for everybody to sit for breakfast, No heating or hot water in room. Staff did not know what time breakfast was served the next day. They said it was 24hr booking in, you can not book in till after 12pmand then they are closed till 2pm for lunch. Are plane landed at 8am sothere for we was stranded with are bags untill after 2pm. Toilet didnt flush, no hot water in shower, room was tiny and filthy, only one towel provided for the two of us, couldnt sleep as room wasfreezing and there was no spare blankets, and someone in another roomhad a tv blaring, the whole night through. We got to bed at maybe 2pmand between the cold, the smell and the noise, got so fed up that weactually left at 6.30am and drove home.
