Agnes and Noel were the perfect hosts we normally stay in hotels but as this B&B got such a high rating we decided to give it a try. From the moment we booked we had an email from Agnes saying thank you for our booking and as we booked a 3 person room as this was all that was left she offered to give us breakfast which was not included in the price from the moment we arrived and was offered tea cake and biscuits we felt at home and made to feel a member of the family room was immaculate. όλα τα σχόλια »
This was definitely our favourite B&B, one which we would recommend without hestitation. Agnes is the perfect host and has loads of info to share regarding whats to see. She welcomed us with tea and cake served in her pretty garden and her breakfasts are the best ever - fresh berry fruit salad and smoked salmon, over and above the usual options. This was very welcome as we were so tired of having the same cooked breakfast at every other B&B we visited. Shortcliff is right beside Killarn.
My husband and I had a great stay at the Shortcliff House Bed and
Breakfast in Milltown, Ireland. We were greeted warmly by Agnes and
Noel, the owners, and given a wonderful suite equipped with tea and
cookies. Breakfasts were wonderful with organic, local vegetables and
eggs, along with smoked salmon and a wonderful cold buffet of cereals,
fresh fruits, etc. Our hosts were invaluable sources of what top do
during the day, as both were from the area, and had been for
generations. We followed th.
The B&B is located just on the outskirts of Milltown within easy
reach (15 - 20 mins drive) of the beaches of the Ring of Kerry and
Dingle, and as well with the same distance to Killarney and Tralee. The
rooms are really comfortable and clean. The owners are friendly, helpful
and a pleasure to deal with. We really enjoyed our stay and can only
recommend this B&B.
This B&B was WONDERFUL!! The house was very clean, decorated beautifully, breakfast was delicious, the host couple was very accommodating and very nice! We were not expecting anything nearly so nice for the price we booked this for, so we were amazingly surprised! Very small town, right along the Ring of Kerry, would HIGHLY reccommend this B&B!!.
Agnes and Noel have been really great hosts. The room and the bathroom have both been nice, comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was absolutely gorgeous, though it comes with additional costs. It was one of the two best B&Bs we have stayed in on our 10 days round trip (the other one was Sharamore B&B near Clifden).
We were greeted in a charming, friendly way, made to feel very welcome, and our accommodation was ideal for us. The breakfast was superb, both in quality and presentation. Had we anticipated the quality of Shortcliffe House we would have booked an extra night to allow more time on the Dingle Peninsula.
Noel's fresh fruit salad!
Friendliness of Agnes and Noel.
They had excellent knowledge of the area and were happy to chat about the best places to go to eat. It was a pleasure to meet them and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
Tea and cake on arrival was a welcome extra that Agnes provided.
Shortcliff House is ideally situated for touring both the Ring of Kerry and the Dingle Peninsular. It is also not far from Killarney. Agnes and Noel made us so welcome and provided us with tea on arrival and the best breakfasts we have had on our many trips to Ireland.
We received a true warm Irish welcome. Agnes and Noel could not do enough for us and were great at sharing information about the area as well as providing fantastic breakfasts and a lovely comfortable holiday home. We cannot praise them enough.
Excellent B&B: spotless, comfortable, private. Great location, secluded, but walking distance to pubs, shops and restaurants, and with all the delights of the Dingle, Iveragh, and Beara peninsulas accessible by car. Brilliant value too.
Very confotable, if you have a car is perfect for visit dingle, killarney and all the rings of kerry! The Landlord end his wife are very friendly, accomodation wos good and cleen and brekfast wos perfect.
Agnes and Noel welcomed us and set us up with tea after a long travel. Their dinner recommendation was perfect. The accommodations were lovely. I couldn't have been happier!.
As near to perfection as you can get, coffee or tea was offered before we were shown the room, excellent place to start the Ring of Kerry from.
loved the garden in which we were served coffee and scrumptious cake, very relaxing and comfortable bandb, with great hosts.
Lovely clean and comfortable B&B. Owners very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast superb. Great location .
Everything was such a high standard. The b&b was immaculate and Noel & Agnes were very friendly.
First class staff. Agnes & Noel were very nice and would try to do anything for you. Very clean.
The hosts are very friendly and helpful.
olmosd every thing.
Everything was perfect.
Not good for hiking right from the b & B. But it was easy enough to
hop in the car and drive to a close location for walking, hiking and
sight-seeing.
Nothing. We loved everything about our stay here!.
More specific directions would have helped us find the house more easily, but in fact the many positives far outweighed this minor issue.
Only a very small quibble - Tea making facilities
uht milk for 'room coffee' but I'm sure that fresh would have been provided if we'd asked.
Hot water stored in container - Would prefer a kettle in the room.
The above available outside the bedroom door but I like a cupper in bed in the morning so I had to sneak out of the room to make it (not a pretty sight) but this wouldn't stop me from revisiting. However there were complimentary bickies to compensate!.
Nothing to dislike.
none.
