Only 10 minutes’ walk from the 15th-century Bunratty Castle, this family-run B&B offers en suite rooms with free Wi-Fi and views of the surrounding garden and countryside. Shannon Airport is a 15-minute drive away. The spacious interior is tastefully decorated with a relaxing blend of modern and antique furnishings. It also boasts an interesting collection of original Irish and international paintings, prints and antique maps. The bright rooms at Dunaree Bed and Breakfast are non-smoking and feature a seating area with a TV. Each has a wardrobe and a private bathroom with a hairdryer. Some rooms boast views of Cratloe Hills. There is a fishing lake within 3 miles of Dunaree B&B. Limerick can be reached with a 15-minute drive.

This is my second stay with the O'Connors at Dunaree. My mother with whom I traveled has stayed three times. The hospitality is marvelous. The owners are so friendly. Penny is a great cook and baker: home made brown bread and scones and rhubarb compote were delicious at breakfast. The home is modern and tastefully decorated with a high level of quality furnishings, bedding and fabulous art throughout the home. The property looks out over a field. It is within walking Distance of Bunratty .

We loved the place- it was beautiful, convenient to nearby attractions, luxurious while being very economical, tastefully appointed with beautiful antiques, blended with modern conveniences, and the owners were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious, lodging was very comfortable. It couldn't have been a better place- we felt so lucky to have found it!. The hostess was very caring and friendly. She gave advice as to what to see in the area, recommended some excellent restaurants and made the experience very enjoyable. There were four hot breakfast choices, which she cooked when we came down. The breakfast was very tasty in addition there was a selection of cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurt, stewed rhubarb along with muffins she had baked earlier. Owners exceptionally friendly and helpful and even assisted carry our luggage up to our room. Conveniently located to Bunratty castle as well as a short drive to Shannon airport Spent our last nite in Ireland here and attended the Bunratty Medieval Banquet and couldn't have been more pleased with our experience. Excellent presentation. First impression from immaculate gardens were indication of the excellent comfort and cleanliness of this accomodation. Penny an excellent and very helpful host. Excellent food and ample off street parking. Will not hesitate to recommend this accommodation to fellow travellers. This home was BEAUTIFULLY decorated! We loved the hospitable innkeeper, Penny O'Connor. She recommended a wonderful pub about a mile from her place where remarkably my husband was able to watch his beloved Packers. Penny prepared an after dinner drink as well as a delicious breakfast. The B&B was wonderful! My kids and myself felt right at home. Our reception and breakfast was exceptional. Couldn't ave asked for a better place to stay or nicer people. My kids even commented that Miss. Patty was super nice. We wish we old ave stayed longer. From the greeting at tea time to our departure the next morning, the entire experience was wonderful. Penny was very gracious, had a spotless and beautiful home, and an our breakfast was outstandingly delicious! Wonderful experience all around!. The location just down from Bunratty castle, close to Shannon by car, the facility was beautiful, there was tea/coffee available, a beautiful & comfortable visiting room to meet with other guests, friendly, helpful owners, wonderful bedroom. The hostess, Penny, was very kind and friendly! Most B&B's we stayed in in Ireland , although clean and comfortable lacked the personal charm of this one. the breakfast was delicious and the home and bedroom beautiful. We loved our stay with the O'Connors. We felt like we were coming home at the end of daily adventures, except I didn't have to do the cooking & cleaning. We look forward to another visit. Penny is a gracious hostess who is very warm and welcoming. I felt as though I were staying in a friend's home. The B&B is beautiful, comfortable and very close to Shannon Airport. The staff was very accommodating when we accidentally left a personal item at the B&B. They mailed it to our next location and expected no reimbursement. It was greatly appreciated. The bathroom was very clean, the room was spacious, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We would definitely recommend the B&B for mature couples. Beyond friendly staff who go the extra mile. Superb rooms and best power shower in ireland. Super breakfast and sceneic surroundings. I am not a fan of black pudding at breakfast but forgot to specify this. Really, there is not much with which to find fault. I returned because I was so pleased the last time. It was walking distance to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, and though we chose to walk, the road is not pedestrian friendly- would help to have a wider area or some signs warning drivers to watch for pedestrians. There are several B&B's along the Low Road, so a more pedestrian- friendly road would benefit the other places, too. I liked everything about our stay. Don't have any complaints. I would highly recommend this place. The proximity to Shannon airport was a factor of our stay. Wifi signal was weak upstairs. ABSOLUTELY, nothing to dislike!. Ahh, the shower mechanism. When you are over in Ireland make sure you know how it works before you go to step in. I liked it all!. The walk to shops, restaurants etc. is short, but down a road that is very dark at night - so walking then wouldn't be a good idea. Liked everything. N/A. nothing. the street was unmarked and look a few circles to locate in the area. Nothing. Room was a bit small with ourselves and suitcases. There was no en suite tea service(the only B&B of 10 that did not have this), but we could use the tea provided in the eating area. Host did offer to let us spill over into another room. Unfortunately she mentioned we were supposed to be in a larger room, but her husband had already assigned it to someone else, so we were disappointed. Not enough time spent here. nothing. everything was great!. None. nothing!. Absolutely hate Duvet comforters which are always too warm. Even though the B&B was fine, we had during our Ireland trip better B&B accomodations, where the owners made us feel like home. nothing. Noisy bathroom (shower) when you use it. Could have used larger blow dryer. There are no streetlights, so if you intend to walk back from the Castle or pub at night, bring a flashlight. Shower must be used before 23:00 because the water heater makes a very loud noise. Couldn't fault it would definetly recommend it to a friend.
