We have spent five days at the Astana and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff have gone out of their way to accommodate our needs, even paying a tip to a parking attendant without putting it on the bill. The pool is perfect if you want to do some lap swimming. We can thoroughly recommend Astana. Third time staying at Astana Pengembak. Clean, new, modern hotel. Big room and a big bathroom. Comfortable bed and cold air conditioning. Step out of the room nearly into the long pool. Friendly and helpful staff. Budget-friendly price via letsbookhotel.com.

The room was well designed and modern. It was nice to have the bicycle provided. stayed for two weeks excellent friendly staff clean rooms and pool,would stay again without a doubt. The Room was excellent !!! Extremely clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff. Pretty layout and fun pool. Spacious room with good sofa and comfortable bed. Kitchenette was OK for simple meal preparation. WiFi and shuttle service into town where good. Design of the room, quiet location. Rooms sound proofed. Courtesy car very efficent, wonderful drivers, reception staff very helpful. Hotel is pretty nice. Rooms are clean and very spacious. Area is quiet as hotel is away from the city center. Kolamnya Depan kamar, anak-anaknya jadi gembira. It is too far from Sanur centrwe. To walk to restaurants on the boardwalk along the beach in the evening you need to walk the first 700m or so in the dark. It does not fee that safe. The restaurant should have a broader menu. It does not cater for a more discerning diner. The location. It is a shame about the location, if the hotel was closer to Central Sanur it would be the perfect hotel for me... The hotel provides a shuttle during certain hours and taxis are cheap however it would be nice to be able to stroll easily to the shopping and restaurant areas. The room cleaning is of questionable quality. In a nice place like this you would expect better. They should hire a new cleaning supervisor. There were mosquitoes in the room, it became a game for me and my partner to see who could catch more. The mozzies in Bali seem to fly slower than Sg.. The taste of the swimming pool was acidic.. mosquitos maybe spray the rooms after cleaning them,but in all honesty should have asked them to. Some broken appliances (lights & microwaves) and no hot water in the kitchen (but bathroom OK). No bacon at breakfast!!. tiny breakfast... Not much open view and the noise when people are ealy or late in the swimming pool. In our case at 10pm!!. Pillow too high, dust on venetians in bathroom & under the beds along the wall, probably never been dusted thorougly. Breakfast on last day very poor, had to order at counter & it all came at once. Talking in kitchen very loud. Towels small & thin. Rooms lack atmosphere - they look like those in a hospital. Restaurant serves very bad quality food, which is expensive. Hotel is also "hidden" and it seems like in the middle of nowhere. Bathtup terlalu dalam.
