The rooms were bright and clean and the hotel upgraded us to a Junior Suite because it was our wedding. They had some chocolate strawberries waiting for us in the room. The Radisson Blu 1919 is centrally located in downtown Reykjavik -- couldn't ask for a better location. Just a block away from the pedestrian area, and from the bus stop. The staff were always helpful and friendly in every way possible. Always. The rooms were very clean, with ample space. The breakfast buffet was really outstanding -- plenty of wonderful variety from which to choose. We felt very welcomed at all times here. That means a lot to us as travelers. From the moment that we drove down through the city streets to City
Center Hotel, we knew that the location was just right on. We were near

The staff went out of their way to make sure everything was o.k. We had a lot of questions (like currencyandlanguage) and they always took time to explain.I would definitley go back to the CenterHotel Arnarhvoll. - great location. good breakfast. lovely geothermal spa in basement. modern rooms.

All of the reception personnel were extremely gracious and helpful. Nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble. They answered questions, confirmed tours, made phone calls to check on things in other towns, made great suggestions about places to eat and buy things, and gave directions to get around. It was they who made it a stress-free trip. Takk

The staff was superb! The desk personnel were extremely knowledgeable and helpful regarding the sites to visit, excursions to take and places to eat. The cleaning staff was diligent in getting your room clean and tidy yet left personal items as you left them.

The breakfast was simple but adequate and we also got breakfast at 5.30am before we headed to the airport on our last morning. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were a family group: Grandpa, Grandma, Daughter, grandsons ages 11,
12. We needed affordable lodging near shopping and public
transportation. Downtown Reykjavik Apartments (dra) met and exceeded our
requirements. The dra is just 2 blocks from one of the main bus stations
in Reykjavik. From that point, one can travel anywhere in the City.

We booked the smallest and cheapest available room (the double studio). When we arrived, finding our keys and room was very easy.
The room was small but very clean - the bedding smelt very fresh. We also saw a family studio which was bigger and again very clean and pleasant.
I asked to upgrade our room as I wanted a bit more space (the prices are very reasonable and I was happy to pay more). However when the owner and Thora heard it was the last leg of our honeymoon, they upgraded us to a 3 bed

The town House guest house is a lovely little place, within walking distance of the twon centre and of the town swimming pool. The owner, harpa, is really helpful and friendly. The room was really comfortable, bright and clean, in a quite street, so no traffic noise. -

Staff was really nice and helpful, the room was warm and clean. The hotel is located 2min from the main street and 10min from the center (by walking) and really cheaper than other center hotels. - The staff are incredibly helpful, especially with organising bus transfers, trips and taxi's. An comfortable and central hotel.

The most spacious apartment we found in Iceland – about 40 square
metres. Included comfortable bed, fully-equipped kitchen and breakfast

A beautiful, homey studio apartment with full kitchen, TV, dining table, couch, etc. The central location is perfect, with a coffee shop just steps away, a supermarket around the corner, and the sights of Reykjavik within easy walking distance. The owners are helpful and very interesting to talk to. This was our third trip to Iceland and this was by far the best of our accommodations in Reykjavik. A home away from home, how can you beat that?

The proprietor was wonderful - even though we arrived at 1:30 am, he came to meet us, got us a parking place, and showed us the apartment, which was spacious and well decorated - very homey.
