We stayed in the Vatnsstigur 11 building, which is perfectly located just off the main street Laugevegur - close to everything, but not disturbed by nightlife at all. No reception staff, but self check-in and finding the room key was easy. Just 200 yards from the sea front and the Sun Voyager statue.

The location is very good as it is very close to the shops, church, grocery and iceland excursions terminal and main office. The interior of the house is very nice, the shared areas as well as guests' rooms are furnished with taste. 1 bathroom for 2 rooms (not for the whole guesthouse). What is particularly remarkable about the place is that nearby there is a modern art sculptures garden.

Alfred was very friendly and helpful in arranging Flybus booking to make our stay pleasant as possible.
Room is well equipped to make simple hot meals with cooker and microwave oven.
Rooms are clean, no regular room service as it is a serviced apartment.

Great location, within walking distance of everything. Hallidor, the resident manager was amazing. Friendly and informative, anything we needed he provided if possible. I had a studio and it was perfect for me and my fiance'. Nice and cozy, the kitchen was fully stocked with all cookware and utensils, microwave, coffee maker, and fridge. The grocery store, Bonus, is literally at the corner and across the street. Can't wait to go back next year!!

The guesthouse is in a lovely residential area which is 5-10mins walk from town. It is a much nicer area to stay in as the other bigger hotels are in a less attractive area.
