  We were given a very warm welcome at the Kruines Hotel. The room was very comfortable and nicely furnished, with its own bathroom. We had a set meal for the two eveings we stayed there. The food was excellent! I wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel is well placed for visiting Reykjavik's shops and museums and for travelling to the airport. ... τι λέει ο κόσμος » Lovely position by the lake. A good base for sight seeing in the south west of Iceland. - We were very happy with our stay at Kriunes. The location is perfect: close enough to go into Reykjavik any time, but far enough out that it was quiet, and we could easily hop on the highway without navigating through a lot of local streets. The staff were very friendly and accommodating of our schedule. We are looking forward to staying again when we visit Iceland next.

  The staff was superb! The desk personnel were extremely knowledgeable and helpful regarding the sites to visit, excursions to take and places to eat. The cleaning staff was diligent in getting your room clean and tidy yet left personal items as you left them. The location was perfect, 2 mins walk to the nearest bars and restaurants. The breakfast was simple but adequate and we also got breakfast at 5.30am before we headed to the airport on our last morning. The staff were friendly and helpful.   Hotel has been re-done recently and has an impressive lobby (with free internet pc's available). The rooms are decorated very well and there is a good information book in your room. The duvets are divine!! Staff are very friendly and efficient in booking the flybus back to airport - Very positive staff.
