I can't recall staying in a better city centre hotel than this and all at a very reasonable price. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble for them. We loved everything about the hotel.We upgraded our room and stayed in a wonderful junior suite on the fifth floor.It was quiet,clean,big and the bathroom had a walk in shower and a jacuzzi.Plenty of closet space and a great bed.The staff was polite and very helpful.They spoke excellent English.They booked restaurants,massages and ordered taxis.I would defenitely recommend this hotel to all my friends.We also liked its situation,district 8.we walked everywhere.Good job!!!

I loved everything about the Opera Gardens Hotel. Rooftop terrace was lovely to relax in after a day's sightseeing, and there was an honesty bar, so you could enjoy a beer or glass of wine and the rooftop view.
Sangria each evening in the hotel lobby for you to grab a glass on your way back up to your room.
Rooms were lovely and spacious.
Staff happy to assist in booking taxis/tickets to the Szechenyi baths & other attractions.

Everything was perfect from A to Z. Right after my booking I received an email from the staff with the confirmation and all the information I needed. I spent the last two weeks of October 2013 at Corvin Lux apartments.
I am very pleased with everything. Both girls Szofia & Reka at the reception are very friendly and lovely, they helped me a lot for everything I needed not only about my room but they helped me with info about moving around using the metro/trams and buses in the best possible way for my desired destinations around Budapest. very good value for these money.Absolutely satisfied. Same hotel in western europe cost 2 or 3 times more.Only good memories. Spa included in price.No extra expenses. - Excellent facilities. The kindness of personnel. Although we arrived later than the closing ours of the spa, they provided full access to the spa without any additional charges. - The price was excellent, and it included breakfast. The coffee was very good and the fresh croissants.

It was a great stay in Budapest - the hotel was absolutely great (from
the large rooms to the spa) and I've found the staff very helpful
(unlike a few other reviews I've read). The apartments are very well
equipped and clean. Since it's located in the heart of Budapest
there's a lot of things to do near the hotel and the closest metro
station is a few hundred meters away.

All exactly like on the fotos. Free parking has only 8 spots, there is a garage which costs 8EUR/night, however you can pay only for those nights actually spent in garage, if you get a free place for other nights. Some difficulties with English while communicating with receptionist, actually is hard to communicate English in Hungary in general. -

It was clean and friendly. The food was good, the staff were considerate and unobtrusive. Excellent value for money overall. The location is convenient (on a ring-road, on a tram-route that links to two of the metro lines). Anyone who's in the city for an MTK or Ferencvaros game will find it VERY convenient.

parking costs 10 Euros/day, good facilities, not that far away from
Budapest City center. Within 15 minutes (8 stops from Deak Ter) with

it is 10 minutes walk to a metro station (Gyöngyösi utca) and a shopping mall .
a big Tesco with 2 restaurants in it is opened 24 hours and is a 2 minutes walk from the hotel.
in summary i would recommend this hotel if taking a metro and 10 minutes walk does not bother you.

It was very good value for Budapest, and the facilities made it an excellent choice for a hot summer break in Budapest. We chose the hotel for its proximity to the Sziget festival and it was a very good choice. Transport links are good for getting into town. Price when booked in advance was good value. The reception staff were all very helpful and
