My wife and I stayed at the Royal Hotel the last night of our stay in Greece. We were looking for someplace close to the airport, due to our early morning flight.
We were pleasantly surprised when, upon check-in, we were informed that we had been upgraded to a "Sea view room", which included breakfast, however, due to the fact that we would be

The staff! They are absolutely the best. Even before we arrived, they
made themselves available via email to answer all sorts of questions as
well as offer very helpful advice. Those interactions made us feel as if
we had friends waiting to greet us in Greece. This was especially
helpful since Thessaloniki was the start of our 17-day trip (via car)
throughout Greece. When we arrived at the airport at midnight (after
traveling nearly 24 hours from San Diego), three of our five pieces of
luggage

Location: a couple blocks from the center of town. Staff:
'George' and Christina were simple awesome. George, the manager,
has great English (I speak only a little Greek) and was very helpful.
Christina managed the breakfast and front desk. Her smile will charm

really perfect hotel with great staff. very helpful, interesting and very friendly.we had a great room with wonderful views. easy parking for the car. hotel was situated in a quiet spot in the village centre and shops nearby.we stayed much longer than planned due to the great hotel.the same day you can climb olympus and cool down in the sea nearby.

The employees had a sense of priority, attention to detail, practicality, follow-through and efficiency. The spa was wonderful.
You could boil all this down to the question: does the guest feel that a hotel staffer really cares about them? Sadly, I'd say that this happens 10% of the time.

Very good and nicely designed hotel with many interesting details. Good and free spa center that requires appointment. Amazing food - fusion cuisine. 100 m close to the sea, but the beach is not superb though very decent. Thera are couple of fireplaces in the lobby and the feeling was magic.
Wi-Fi worked perfectly, no problem to park and I really injoyed winter spa wekend in this hotel.
Outside of the hotel with sweeming pools is also nice but not interesting in this time of the year.

Comfort, swimming pool, luxury. Not far from the airport, not far from the city. Service to pick us up from the airport arranged. Had a safe in the room to safeguard valuables such as passport, etc. Breakfast and meals were very good. Bathroom and shower safe and spacious. No steps to get into the shower.

Fantastic staff and complimentary breakfast was great offering such a variety. Pool was awesome and the surrounding garden and hotel was superb as walking around the area of the resort there weren't many others to compare. I really liked the pool side, it was very relaxing being there. For the first time I actually felt like I want to spent more time at the pool rather than the beach side. The breakfast was also very nice, there was enough of choices every day and the quality of the food was good. Also the balcony was very pleasant for a late chit chats and afternoon coffee. Overall great experience.

We visited this hotel in October and we stayed for two nights. The location was amazing! Sea on one side and mount Olympus on the other. The hotel is really new (i think it opened in 2012). When we arrived we got an upgrade to a junior suite with a mountain view due to availability. The room was perfect! Spacious, clean, luxurious! The jacuzzi at the balcony was great and i totally recommend it. The staff was very helpful and polite. The facilities were worthy of the hotel's five star category.

This is a truely idyllic place with wonderful views and excellent service. If you think Greek food is uninspiring this hotel will make you change your mind. The breakfasts are a feast. I never normally leave a review for any hotel but the family was so welcoming and kind - I felt I must record our experience.
