When we arrived in hotel, Mike offered the snacks and drinks, although it was about 3 PM of morning. Very nice men, this told us what it is worth to visit, how best to travel in the island. Has no trouble living in the hotel. Hotel are managed by family, and they have a farm in island, - Good location, very friendly staff. 24 hour bar, restaraunt, pool tables, music and internet access. Excellent buffet breakfast and good value for money. Good for singles, couples and families as the staff assist in planning and recommend tourist activities. Highly recommended.

We spent two full weeks in this hotel. After many years of experience with Greek tourism (and all its drawbacks) I must say that hospitality and efficiency of Philoxenia’s staff is amazing. The location of the hotel is perfect to discover the town. 5 minutes to the old center. The Hotel is located in the modern center very close to the bars and clubs.
Thanks to the bar which is located on the ground floor, we are immediately under a greek atmosphere.

My sister-in-law and myself were met at the airport by a very friendly Mike who drove us to his apartments pointing out places of interest on the way and stopping for us to take a 'photo.
