  Magnificent view of caldera and sunsets, as described. Upon arrival were surprised to have a suite with fridge and cooking facilities instead of only a double room with extra cot as ordered. This was very beneficial as we saved money on breakfasts and enjoyed hospitality on our balcony.   Mr. Sigalas is a wonderful host! He picked us up at the port and drove us to the villa. He had us laughing and feeling like we were part of the family. His two daughters run the reception and they will arrange anything you need. They were able to set up rental cars, restaurant reservations, boat trips, whatever. They had only been open for 2 years when we stayed there, and Mr S - I liked everything. I have been to Santorini before and the overall standard of accommodation is high at every price level. What makes the Sigal stick out is the unassuming nature of your hosts, all members of the same lovely family who are always cheerful and overtly helpful without straying into the poncey attendant type operation that Santorini seems to have sprouted in abundance.   The staff, especially the proprietress, were really helpful friendly and thoughtful. They all spoke good English. We immediately felt at home - among friends. Our room was pleasant, airy and had a view of the sea from its balcony. She went so far as to make us a take-away breakfast when we had to leave to catch the midnight ferry. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is meticulously clean, and the beds are the softest I've experienced in Greece so far. The pool area is as good as any luxury hotel, and the outdoor gardens are lovely.

  We liked everything about this hotel: location (beach right outside), transportation (airport pickup, bus right outside hotel going to town center in a few minutes, and hotel shuttle to port), clean and spacious rooms, complimentary breakfast with good varieties and quality, friendly staff and great food/wine services on beach!! Breakfast was extensive and food from the restaurant at hotel was absolutely delicious and affordable. Room was comfortable and on the doorstep of one of my favourite beaches.
