  We loved this hotel. I was worried a bit that it would be a typicalbusiness hotel (based on pictures from internet) but it has beenrecently renovated and it was great.   Stayed at the beautiful Medusa Resort in July. I can't recommend this place highly enough - It's biggest asset, apart from the incredible location, is the staff. Nothing was too much trouble and they did everything to make our stay wonderful! The breakfasts were lovely, with enough choice to cater for anyone. The hotel is located directly on the beach (I think this is the only hotel in Plaka which is directly on the beach without the sand round between hotel and beach).   We liked everything about this hotel: location (beach right outside), transportation (airport pickup, bus right outside hotel going to town center in a few minutes, and hotel shuttle to port), clean and spacious rooms, complimentary breakfast with good varieties and quality, friendly staff and great food/wine services on beach!! Breakfast was extensive and food from the restaurant at hotel was absolutely delicious and affordable. Room was comfortable and on the doorstep of one of my favourite beaches.

  The staff were really helpful, and right from the moment we booked the hotel they got in touch by email to find out when we were arriving, send pictures, and offer suggestions on how to get to the hotel. The hotel was located right by the beach (you couldn't really get much closer!). As an example; my arrival was delayed due to an Athens international flight controllers strike, so I could arrive until the next day. However the staff changed my reservation without charge.
