Highly recommended!! I liked everything about it! It's almost like I don't want to say too much because I was so positively surprised by how we were taken care of. I've never had a better hotel experience (even at fancy places), and it felt like staying with a nice Greek family. FYI: don't get a taxi at the port, but look for the Hotel Grotta van, they pick you up. Or you can simply walk a little ways away from the ferry (we came by ferry) and look up to your left. Every care was taken to ensure my stay was pleasant. My room was comfortable and clean and the view was spectacular from the lounge. It is close enough to town, easier going down since it's above the town, so allow for time coming back up.

Stuff of hotel was incredible friendly and helpfull. They have lots of homemade or local drinks and foods. The village and beach were peacefull and naturally. Only you have to know is that there is not ATM or car/moto rental. You have to get money before you come and then only relax.

The family who run this hotel are friendly and helpfull but unobtrusive. The hotel is well positioned close to the centre of the village,yet it was also very quiet and peaceful. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable.Breakfast was typical Mediterranean boiled eggs cheese cold meat croissants coffee and orange juice etc.We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it.It was an attractive little hotel just what we were looking for.

Lovely hotel. Our room was one of the nicest we have stayed in in Greece, large and very tasteful with attractive dark wood furniture and a very comfortable 4 poster bed. Big bathroom with lots of hot water and immaculately clean. The pool was good. We were also picked up and returned to the port free of charge.

The owners are delightful, they help immediately with any kind of problem in the hotel, and they provide all kinds of tourist information. They are also available 24/7.

Good location (1 minute walk to the beach, 5 -10 minutes walk to town center. Very close to restaurants and cafeterias. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast included homemade local sweets (marmelades, cakes, cookies etc). Always open kitchen which was visible from the dining area was a plus as you could see that everything was prepared in a clean environment. Also, the main entrance of the hotel was locked after 23:00 which added an extra feel of safety as there is not reception after this
