Perama has a lake, a cave and an old church. We only slept for the night but took a short walk in the village and visit the church. It is a famous cave here but we didn't visit it. It is near the Ioannina, which is worth a day visit.

The place is peaceful and very close to the old city, literally 5 min walking. The best part is the patio where you can eat, read or just relax in the shadow.   Really pretty and comfortable hotel located at the centre of Ioannina. Thematic rooms with very comfortable beds. The location is perfect to go and see the town. You can enter into the castle walls, find parking place and then do not forget to get your parking sticker from the reception. - Nice location within old city center.   The hotel is situated within the fortress, very close to the town centre and the lake Pamvots. Within a couple of minutes walking distance you could get a boat to the Nisi iland. The sfaff were very friendly and gave us valuable information about how to get to different sightseeing places and facilites. Breakfast was ok - hearty let's say. We do recommend - We got the first floor corner with the windows that open up to the outside courtroom...BEST Room ever. At first, I was scared it would be noisy being right next to the reception area, but we didn't hear anything at all. The room itself is cozy and decorated very nicely. The pillows smell amazing and the bed is so comfortable...we didn't want to get out! The brothers who work there are also very nice and helpful..they recommended a guide for our visit to Zagoria and it turned out to be fantastic
