  The hotel is a right place for anyone who want to enjoy wonderful holidays in Zante. The location is good, near the beach and supermarkets. The swimming pool is very clean, spacious and quite warm in the sun. You can see lots of birds flying across the pool and singing over the garden in the morning. Wifi works pretty well. Hot and cold water is for the - The rooms were very clean. There are two sections an old and new. Unfortunately our two rooms were split but they were the last rooms so we had to make do.   I have stayed at the Ionian Star twice, and was impressed by everything. I couldn't give them a rating of 4 (average) on any category. I never had dinner at the hotel, but there is no reason to believe it would not be less than 5. I hope that George and family can survive the current Greek economy problems, they deserve to make it.
