It was very quiet and private. The room was very nice and the view was spectacular. The restaurant was great and reasonably priced. - A clean hotel with everything you need and no wasted money on unnecessary frills.

Good location. near the railway staton, and also next to a supermarket. The room was large, nice, well equiped, and with a balcony. The quality of the breakfast was good. Though the price was a little expensive, it's worth the value. -

Big fluffy pillows, warm pool, eco friendly, friendly owners serve breakfast, nice path from hotel up and around mountain into town. Decent price, i paid 212Euro for 3 nights. - The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the service was excellent. The breakfast was so good.

The location couldn't be bettered. Restaurants either direction, very close to bus stop, shopping area. If coming by train, would need a taxi or bus to get to the hotel as the town is on a hillside. The hotel is very quiet. We had the luxury of 2 rooms to ourselves. Reception was helpful. Loved the idea of having the laundrette next door. -

The breakfast buffet was varied and delicious.
Staff were all friendly and helpful.
We really loved this hotel and will stay again.

The apartment was so well-furnished. The kitchen in the apartment
was wonderful with washing machine, oven, fridge, and the owner even
put a radio in it. There was a balcony outside our room, we enjoyed
our breakfast outside with amazing mountain view. Everything was
just perfect!

Two minutes walk to the lake of Königssee.
Free guest card for visitors. Although I had purchased the Bayern Ticket and did not use the guest card, it is still quite useful for those without a Bayern Ticket as the guest card allows visitors to take local buses for free.
Very quiet at night as all the shops will be closed early in the evening.

Rooms were comfortable and they had nice balconies that looked out onto the surrounding mountains. Lady at front desk was actually very helpful although she seemed a bit gruff at first.

The innkeepers are really nice, they prepared local transport information for us. The room was very cozy and was cleaned every day during our stay. Breakfast was delicious with fresh coffee and egg. Each of two bus stops is about 3 to 5 minutes away, even walking distance to the Berchtesgaden HBF is just about 15 minutes. -

Very friendly and helpful staff, always in a good mood and making jokes.
Breakfast was simple but we could order as much as we wanted. Very cozy
and typical restaurant/stube. Walking distance from Berchtesgaden
and busconnections. Beautiful environment next to the river and close to

The location is great, just across the train/bus station, so you will be thankful that you don't need to drag luggage up to the hills where most of the other hotels locate. The price (80 euro for a double room one night) is OK considering the taxi fare up to the hills saved. The room is very clean, bed is nice, though the rooms in annex building do not have elevators and shower/restroom a bit small yet very clean. The breakfast buffet is good. I loved the fresh mint leaves they provided for

i will definitely stay in this hotel again. very comfort bed, the staffs are very friendly, i arrived the hotel in the midnight, and they prepared everything for me before my arrival. from this hotel you can see Alps mountain just from your room. very nice location. i walked to Konigssee through a mountain road(which is recommended by the staff),

Staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was fantastic - one of the best nights sleep we've had in a hotel. The place was gorgeous. The breakfast is highly recommended too.

First of all I would like to thank the personal of the hotel for their
hospitality, opennes and helpfulness. My family spent 2 wonderful weeks
at Hotel Bärenstüberl during Xmas holidays.I Would highly recommed to
visit this hotel due to the following reasons: 1. It is located in a
very beautiful and calm place (5 min from the famous lake Königssee

and international cuisine. 3/ Very good price/value ratio.

All was wonderfull! Hotel is located near one of the most beautiful lakes - "Koenigsee" (this lake is similar to the Norwegian fjords!!!), near a big national park and near many interesting german and austrian sights to)))
Children were very happy with swimming pool)))
Ilya was very frendly and helpfull (he is owner of this nice hotel)
