bit squished but it was fine. Location is good proximity to the city
center (with a car as we had) and many supermarkets etc. Overall it was
a great stay with no issues. -

I'd best describe the hotel as a "very comfortable, high quality hotel with friendly backpacker hostel type ambiance". Everything has been thought of to make the stay easy, agreable and fun - including option for travellers on a budget. Despite the affortable rooms, I found more "travel essentials" being met at the SuperBude than at most 4* hotels

Everything is brand-new and pretty well designed. Very stylish and simple. Breakfast for additional price but that was a good choice of food. The location is excellent: lots of bars, cafes and fruit markets. Just across the hotel one can find small shop to buy fish sandwiches. The centre is reachable by S- and U-Bahn, at the hotel also one can borrow a bike (we didn't try but it supposedly included in price).

Location was great for the Schanze area nightlife, was nice hotel, large clean room and bathroom. - Very clean friendly hotel and very close to nightlife in Hamburg. I'd recommend the Fish Market on Sunday morning which was had live bands on from about 8am.

I liked that it was easy to get in and out at all hours and that I could leave my bag in the luggage room for a while after checking out. - It was all positive stories staying at A&O. I really got the real value for all money paid. Would surely come again. Thanks

the place looks amazing and really encapsulates an old brothel feel.. it's kitsch, tacky and has some amazing pictures and features. excellent location.

Staff were excellent, gave me and my friend countless bits of invaluable advice. Told us some places to go also and they were great. Allowed me to use they're phone/laptop when I lost my phone also which was priceless at the time.

Very friendly and humorous staff. Nice, clean and spacious room/bathroom. Conveniently located next to Altona station with easy access to everywhere. We had reserved paid parking in the basement but still the receptionist gave us the choice to cancel it and park on the street for free. Free Wifi. This is the place to stay if you are in Hamburg

I was totally impressed with the Hotel and it's staff and not to mention the close proximity to the public train system. Best bang for your buck for those travelers looking to country hop and need a clean and comfortable room. I've been traveling in Europe for two months and will now only stay at Meininger Hotels. Friendly staff on reception. Perfect location and rooms for a group of 7 young lads. If you're after luxury this isn't it but for convenience it is perfect. Definitely recommend it for groups of lads -
