I'd best describe the hotel as a "very comfortable, high quality hotel with friendly backpacker hostel type ambiance". Everything has been thought of to make the stay easy, agreable and fun - including option for travellers on a budget. Despite the affortable rooms, I found more "travel essentials" being met at the SuperBude than at most 4* hotels

Everything is brand-new and pretty well designed. Very stylish and simple. Breakfast for additional price but that was a good choice of food. The location is excellent: lots of bars, cafes and fruit markets. Just across the hotel one can find small shop to buy fish sandwiches. The centre is reachable by S- and U-Bahn, at the hotel also one can borrow a bike (we didn't try but it supposedly included in price).

I liked that it was easy to get in and out at all hours and that I could leave my bag in the luggage room for a while after checking out. - It was all positive stories staying at A&O. I really got the real value for all money paid. Would surely come again. Thanks

Very friendly and humorous staff. Nice, clean and spacious room/bathroom. Conveniently located next to Altona station with easy access to everywhere. We had reserved paid parking in the basement but still the receptionist gave us the choice to cancel it and park on the street for free. Free Wifi. This is the place to stay if you are in Hamburg

I was totally impressed with the Hotel and it's staff and not to mention the close proximity to the public train system. Best bang for your buck for those travelers looking to country hop and need a clean and comfortable room. I've been traveling in Europe for two months and will now only stay at Meininger Hotels. Great location, reasonable price, friendly staff, nice clean room, good bar and restraunt. - Staff were very helpful. I had trouble connecting my Mac to WiFi so a staff member let me use the receptions PC for internet use. A very large selection of items for breakfast. Queen size bed just for me.

Fantastic value for money hotel/hostel in a great location. The room and bathroom was spotlessly clean and well appointed.
The toilet was faulty but fixed almost immediately.
