have been put towards the Bulow Palais which I found very high-end

A characterful beautifully renovated hotel on a quiet cobbled street in the Baroque Quarter of Dresden. Just 10 minutes walk over the Elbe to the historic city centre. The breakfast is a fine dining experience with table linen, porcelain and attentive service.
Not a place for glitzy bars and full facilities, although these are available at the sister Bülow Palais a short walk away.
Wi-fi is free and effective.

Great location, close to the touristy center but in a very quiet area, also close to the area with cafes, restaurants, bars and small artsy shops. This is a great place to stay in Dresden. We were there for the Christmas markets and the hotel's location was ideal. Our room was clean and spacious and the staff was friendly and helpful. A few tips if you stay here:
- Remember that this is an apartment hotel and is not serviced daily. That was not at all a problem for us, and there is an option

In the heart of the tourist action, close to the Frauenkirche, and with
rooms including many of the things tourists need, but which most
providers forget - washing machine (only complaint, which was not
understood, was that it would have meant buying a large container of
washing powder. Found out on leaving that, if we had asked at reception,

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The personel were

What a great hotel. This hotel is superb in every way. The hotel lobby is big bright and modern and sets the tone for ones stay . The location is very good in the newly refurbished part of Dresden old town. The room was a delight, large high ceilings, modern contemporary design and a funky bathroom. The dining area was large, well designed and the breakfast was very good. I will stay there again if I return to Dresden. Staff were very professional.

Nice place especially for walking trips along the river to and from the city. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Good breakfast. There will be an opening of the new bridge very close to the hotel at the end of August which will make the position of the hotel even more attractive for the tourists.

έμεινα μόνο μία ημέρα στο ξενοδοχείο και δεν μπορώ να έχω τεκμηριομένη άποψη, αλλά ήταν βολικό για να δείς όλα τα αξιοθέατα στο κέντρο της πόλης πολύ κοντά ώστε να μετακινηθείς και με τα πόδια, ήταν ήσυχο, καθαρό και το προσωπικό στην υποδοχή παρείχε κάθε πληροφορέιο που ζήτησα με ευγένια και χαμόγελο. - Η εξυπηρέτηση

This is the best budget and eco-friendly hotel I've ever been. The rooms are not big as you would expect for this price, but equipped well with the most modern equipment and everything is very well thought through and convenient. It is right in the centre of the old town close to everything and breakfast is decent as well. We had a great stay with

The location is great, it's only a block away to the Frauenkirche
and the major old city sites. It is also on top of a shopping centre
so it's very easy to buy stuffs (there's a Aldi in the
basement, that's why I can't comment on the breakfast) The
room is simple but fully functional (free and stable internet,
there's soap and towels; for hair dryer you can get it free at the
reception with deposit.)
